It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 9th Congress of the Asia Pacific Trauma Society (APTS 2024), which
will be held in Pine Beach Hotel
Belek, Antalya, Turkey on May 8-12, 2024.
This scientific feast is not to be missed, as it will cover many areas of interest in orthopedic trauma including
upper limb, pelvis/acetabulum,
lower limb, foot and ankle and pediatric injuries. In addition to the free paper sessions and e-poster
presentations, the program will be enriched
by symposia and instructional lectures given by distinguished speakers from all over the globe. The delegates will
have the opportunity to
meet with those experts to share and enhance knowledge on the latest international research and developments in the
field of orthopedic
traumatology.
We encourage all the participants to submit abstracts of their scientific work to share their experience and
exchange ideas with their colleagues.
Besides the stimulating scientific program, this meeting will also offer its attendees an unforgettable cultural
experience in Antalya with magnificient sun and the sea,
delicious food and nearby antiquities.

It is with great pleasure that the Asia Pacific Trauma Society, TOTBID and the Ortopedik Travma Subesi (Turkish Trauma Association) invite members of the international orthopaedic fraternity to the beautiful costal Mediterranean city of Antalya, to attend the 9th APOA Trauma Congress in conjunction with the 1st Meeting of the APOA Waves.
This scientific extravaganza is not to be missed as it will cover a diverse range of topics on upper limb, lower limb, paediatric, foot & ankle and pelvic trauma. The Organising Committee has gathered a team of experts from around the world to speak at the meeting. The Congress will be preceded by hands-on workshops on May 9, 2024 and will cover a range of topics to be delivered by international experts in their respective fields. Our committee has worked hard to prepare a unique and exciting selection of topics within the different sub-specialities in trauma care and infection management. The lectures and symposia will provide all delegates with information that is most relevant on the international orthopaedic stage.
The meeting will be held at the newly opened Pine Beach Belek resort located on the picturesque Antalya cosy. There will be many social and cultural events, optional tours and shopping at the various famous Turkish markets.

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to join us for the Asia Pacific Trauma Society’s Scientific Congress in
the historic city of Antalya, Turkey
from Wednesday 8th May to Sunday 12th May 2024 at the Maritim Pine Beach Hotel. Antalya is the gateway to Turkey’s
southern Mediterranean
region and is known for its beautiful Turquoise Coast, and yacht-filled old harbour. The region is full of gorgeous
beaches and hidden caves. The
shopping and the nightlife are exceptional. There are many opportunities to visit the many historical sites, museum
spaces and waterparks. As we
come out from the unprecedented social isolation of the last 2 years, we have a wonderful opportunity to reconnect
with colleagues and make
new friends as we enjoy a meeting full of educational events and social experiences.
The meeting has a great balance of science and recreation. It will include a series of current concepts and
case-based lectures, along with debates on the controversies in
trauma surgery. There will be an opportunity to learn from the “tips and tricks” seminars and the latest global
research in the free papers and posters. There will also be a large
exhibition area to experience the latest technological, pharmaceutical and imaging developments. Antalya also offers
the opportunity to create everlasting memories as you
